Wow what a busy month! First, we need to thank everyone who has committed to keeping our little foundation alive and moving forward. Without our volunteers, donors and amazing board of directors we would not be where we are today. If you don’t know by now our Third Annual Gold Star Memorial Day BBQ is happening on May 25th at the Middlesex 4H fairgrounds in Westford Ma. Hop on over to the events page and check out all the fun stuff going on, remember this is free to the public. If you have not stopped by our kid’s page, please do. These are the campers we will be sending to camps this summer and we will be adding kids as funding becomes available. We are on track that by the end of this summer we will have sent 90 kids to 78 different camps in 9 summers, averaging 10 kids per summer and wanting to do more. This summer and into the fall we are in the planning phases for several other events, which means if you want to help we will have a spot for you to do that. Our challenge has always been having enough funds to send all our applicants to camp. By holding more events, seeking corporate partnerships and the generosity of our donors we think next summer we can do this. What we will need form all of you is help, help at events, help with logistics and help spreading our mission to as many people as possible. My question is will you answer the call?
